THE DIRECTIVES


Pen on paper, series of 7 drawings. 60" x 88.5" unframed. 2008-9.
Large-scale drawings address my desire to make the transformation from artist to agent. The language is based on the subtle and indirect 'slang' employed by the agents I spoke with in the secret service. The resulting list of instructions hovers somewhere between a love letter and a request for training from The Organization.
